• Dallas Stars: Dallas dominated the Colorado Avalanche 6-2 on Monday in Game 5 of their first-round playoff series. Wyatt Johnston led with two goals, including one just nine seconds into the game, tying for the fifth-fastest goal in NHL playoff history. Jake Oettinger made 26 saves, while Roope Hintz contributed a goal and an assist. The Stars now lead the series 3-2, with Game 6 set for Thursday in Denver.

• Texas Rangers: ​The Rangers unleashed their best offensive performance of the season on Tuesday, crushing the Athletics 15-2. • FC Dallas: FC Dallas staged a remarkable comeback on Sunday, defeating Inter Miami 4-3. Trailing 3-1, Dallas scored three goals in 17 minutes, with Pedrinho netting the winner in the 81st minute.
