Series tied 1-1 and heading to St. Paul tonight. After getting embarrassed 6-1 in Game 1 at home, the Stars responded Monday with a 4-2 win that felt a lot more like playoff hockey. Wyatt Johnston scored twice (one ricochet, one empty-netter), Matt Duchene had the tiebreaking power-play goal, Jason Robertson tacked on an insurance tally, and Jake Oettinger stopped 28 shots including a dynamite point-blank stop on Kirill Kaprizov in the final minutes. The penalty kill went a perfect 4-for-4 after getting torched for three power-play goals in the opener. Brock Faber scored both Wild goals and has been a problem on the blue line.

The Rangers got body-bagged in Seattle but came home and reset against the Pirates. Jacob deGrom turned in four shutout innings Friday and Brandon Nimmo's leadoff homer set the tone for a 5-0 win. Then the Mariners bats woke up, Nathan Eovaldi got roughed up, and Texas dropped the next two. A day off Monday, then a 5-1 home win over Pittsburgh on Tuesday to right the ship.

FC Dallas drew LA Galaxy 2-2 on Saturday night at Toyota Stadium, which is becoming the theme of this season. Points keep getting split in entertaining ways. They host Minnesota United tonight under the lights, then fly west for a late Saturday night tilt in Seattle.

NFL Draft Kicks Off Thursday with Cowboys Holding Picks 12 and 20: The 2026 NFL Draft begins at 7 PM CT Thursday in Pittsburgh, and Dallas is at the center of nearly every trade rumor in the league. Multiple credible reports have the Cowboys aggressively pursuing a move up for Ohio State linebacker Sonny Styles, with Cleveland's No. 6 pick as the most discussed landing spot. If Dallas stays put, expect a cornerback and edge rusher combo, with LSU's Mansoor Delane, Tennessee's Jermod McCoy, and Texas Tech's David Bailey all on the radar. Stars vs. Wild Tied 1-1 Heading to St. Paul: Dallas evened the series Monday with a 4-2 win powered by Wyatt Johnston's two goals and Jake Oettinger's 28-save performance. The penalty kill flipped from disaster in Game 1 to perfect in Game 2. Game 3 is tonight at 8:30 PM CT at Grand Casino Arena. Mavericks Locked Into 8th-Best Lottery Odds After Losing Coin Flip: Dallas and New Orleans finished the season tied at 26-56, and the Pelicans won Monday's random-draw tiebreaker. The Mavs will enter the May 10 lottery with a 6.7% shot at the No. 1 overall pick and a 31.9% chance at a top-four selection. Last year's miracle jump from 11th-best odds to the top pick netted Cooper Flagg, so Dallas fans have reason to keep the hope alive. American Airlines Expanding DFW With New European Routes and 13-Bank Schedule: Starting this month, American Airlines is restructuring its DFW operation into a 13-bank schedule, which spreads flights more evenly across the day and aims to reduce the congestion that's plagued connections for years. The bigger news for travelers: new nonstop routes to Athens, Prague, and Budapest are launching this summer, with Athens kicking off in May on 787-9s. The airline is betting DFW becomes a legitimate Europe gateway for travelers across the central US, not just a connection point to the coasts. Source
